Heirloom Musical Creations was born out of a desire to share the magical and wonderful sound that is produced from a finely constructed, heirloom quality music box.  We are focused on only one objective - making the best custom, handcrafted musical instruments that we can make. Our prime hardwood musical boxes are not inexpensive, but quality never is. Only the best goes into our products, and each of our musical works of art is signed and dated.  With proper care, our extraordinary creations will provide enjoyment for years to come.

The initiating spark for our family owned business in Dripping Springs was a visit to a music box shop in the Amish country of Lancaster, PA years ago. There, for the first time, David heard and became enchanted with high quality music box movements. Combining his hobby of making small wooden chests, with worldclass Japanese 50 and 72 note music movements, resulted in a music box design that provides an extraordinary listening experience.  The sound will surprise and delight you!
