Celebrate National Ice Cream Month with Blue Bell

Blue Bell Ice Cream Brenham, Texas

The folks at The Little Creamery are always busy preparing something new and exciting for ice cream fans. And this July being National Ice Cream Month, We Are Austin will take you on a short-guided tour of the Little Creamery in Brenham. Get a close-up look at the Blue Bell ice creams making-process and you’ll see why ice cream fans from Arizona to Florida, Texas to Tennessee, enjoy Blue Bell. We also learn the name of their latest flavor.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month, July 19th this year, as National Ice Cream Day. He called for all U.S. citizens to celebrate the frozen treat.

From their website:

Blue Bell Creameries will delight chocoholics everywhere with the introduction of Nutty Chocolate Ice Cream - a rich chocolate ice cream loaded with milk chocolate coated pecans, dark chocolate coated peanuts, white chocolate coated almonds and roasted walnuts.
“A bowl of Blue Bell Ice Cream is the perfect way to observe National Ice Cream Month,” said Paul Kruse, Blue Bell CEO and president. “Each year we release a new flavor in July to honor the occasion. We celebrate ice cream every day at Blue Bell. But July give us a reason to indulge a bit more in our favorite treat.”
Blue Bell offers a wide variety of ice cream flavors, making something for just about everyone to enjoy during National Ice Cream Month. There is the number one selling Homemade Vanilla, created to taste just like you hand-cranked it on your back porch, or Moo-llennium Crunch for those who like a bit of everything in their ice cream. If it’s fruit you like, try Peaches & Homemade Vanilla or Strawberry Cheesecake.

Nutty Chocolate Ice Cream is now available in your grocer’s freezer.
